‘Good Morning America’ Features Stable Road Foundation’s LA Fire Relief Efforts
Last week, Stable Road Foundation was featured on the hit television program “Good Morning America” when longtime partner Michael Capponi presented $15,000 checks to nine Los Angeles families who lost their homes in the recent wildfires.
The $135,000 donation was made possible in large part by Stable Road Foundation’s contribution to the Global Empowerment Mission (GEM) recovery efforts to help people impacted by the Los Angeles wildfires, which has displaced over 200,000 people already.
Stable Road Foundation and GEM had previously worked together on fire relief efforts in Maui, where the two organizations teamed up to deliver immediate assistance and long-term infrastructure for Maui residents.
Similar efforts are underway in Los Angeles, where GEM has already set up warehouses and distribution centers across the city to help people get essential supplies. Along with Bethenny Frankel’s BStrong Foundation, Stable Road Foundation is one of GEM’s primary partners in the recovery efforts.
“Good Morning America” lauded these efforts as an example of outstanding generosity and compassion in the wake of disaster. The full segment can be viewed here.
