Stable Road Foundation Donates $100k to LA Fire Relief
Following the deadly wildfires that have engulfed much of the area around Los Angeles, Stable Road Foundation is stepping up with a $100,00 donation to provide immediate and long-term relief for Angelenos affected by the fires.
The Foundation has deep connections to Los Angeles, where founder Ed Freedman lived for many years before moving to Maui. The Malibu area in particular has been ravaged by the fires, with many of Ed’s friends and neighbors having to flee their homes.
Officials estimate that hundreds of thousands people have been displaced by the fires, with tens of thousands of homes, businesses, and other buildings destroyed. Over 20 people lost their lives in the fires.
Stable Road Foundation will once again be partnering with disaster relief experts Global Empowerment Mission (GEM) to make an impact for people on the ground. The Foundation’s donation will help provide emergency necessities kits, housing assistance, cleaning and repair kits, and other community needs that arise as the situation develops.
