Stable Road Foundation Wins Chief’s Digest Business Excellence Award

The Chief’s Digest has awarded Ed Freedman and Stable Road Foundation its Business Excellence Award for 2024.

The award, which is given annually to founders and CEOs who achieve exceptional success in their fields, recognizes the remarkable impact that Freedman and Stable Road Foundation have had on Maui’s rebuilding efforts since last year’s devastating wildfires. 

Along with a $1 million donation and on-the-ground efforts on behalf of Stable Road Foundation’s disaster relief partner, Global Empowerment Mission (GEM), the Foundation has also been active in identifying community needs and providing them immediately—such as clean water for Maui’s low income and unhoused populations.

Stable Road Foundation’s Business Excellence Award also recognizes the long-term impact of the Foundation’s work around the globe, which provided invaluable and actionable experience for responding when disaster struck at home.
