Introducing the New Stable Road Foundation Blog

Feel the impact like never before.

Aloha, I’m Ed Freedman. Back in 2017, I started the Stable Road Foundation with two main goals in mind. I wanted to help protect our natural environment, and I wanted to bring joy to the lives of kids in tough situations.

More than five years later, I’m proud to say that Stable Road Foundation has done some great work on both fronts. We’ve found a roadmap that works, and partners who share our goals and values. Now, we’re excited to take things to the next level—and to tell the world about the amazing people and projects that make this journey so special.

On this blog, you’ll find a fascinating collection of stories from around the world (and from our own backyard, too). For example, you might read about:

Our partners and projects reflect our desire to make a tangible impact both at home and abroad. While there’s nothing wrong with cutting a check for a worthy cause—in fact we encourage it!—what really excites us is rolling up our sleeves and getting our hands dirty. For all of us at the Stable Road Foundation, the most rewarding part of this work is putting in a long day cleaning coastlines or installing infrastructure or teaching special needs kids how to surf.

In the weeks and months to come, we’re looking forward to sharing more of Stable Road Foundation’s story with you. We already have a long list of things we’ll be working on in 2023, and we can’t wait to build on the successes of the past with even more ambitious goals for the future.

If you’d like to learn more about the Foundation’s work, or you’d like to know how you can help out, drop us a line and we’ll be in touch as soon as possible.

In the meantime, take care and thanks for reading. Mahalo!
